Event Attendance Policy

In registering for or attending an event (the “Event”) hosted, in whole or in part, by Affirm, Inc. or its affiliates (collectively, “Affirm”), each registrant or attendee (“attendee,” “you” or “your”) agrees to all terms and conditions set forth in this Event Registration and Attendance Policy.  If you do not agree, you may not register or attend.

Code of Conduct

All attendees have the right to a safe and welcoming environment regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or any other attributes. Affirm reserves the right to refuse admittance to, or remove any person from, the Event (including from any related events) at any time in its sole discretion, including but not limited to persons behaving in an inappropriate, disorderly, disrespectful, or dangerous manner or failing to comply with this Event Registration and Attendance Policy. All attendees must follow safety signage, instructions, and rules.

Film and Video Consent

Photographs, audio and/or video taken by Affirm, or others on behalf of Affirm, as part of the Event may include your voice, image or likeness. By attending the Event, you agree that Affirm may use such photographs, audio and/or video, including those that may contain your voice, image or likeness, for any purpose on a worldwide basis in perpetuity, without any compensation to you, and you release Affirm from all liability related thereto.

Photographs, audio and/or video are not permitted to be taken by you at the Event without the prior written consent of Affirm. All information learned or observed by you in relation to the Event, including but not limited to keynote speeches, session presentations, and names or company names of other attendees (“Event Information”), is for your personal use only. You may not publish, distribute, sell, or otherwise make available any Event Information without receiving prior written consent from Affirm.

Feedback

You agree that Affirm is not subject to any confidentiality obligations or use restrictions related to information that you may provide in connection with the Event. For clarity, however, this paragraph, in itself, does not grant Affirm any license under your intellectual property rights. You agree that Affirm shall be free to use or implement for any purpose any or all suggestions, ideas for improvement, and other feedback you provide regarding Affirm’s products or services, including completion of any evaluation forms, polls, or surveys provided to you by Affirm (“Feedback”) and that no payment, royalty or other consideration whatsoever shall be due to you in connection with such Feedback.

General Terms

By registering for or attending the Event, you agree to hold Affirm and its directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of or related to your registration and/or attendance of the Event. You assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in or attendance of the Event, or use of the Event. You voluntarily assume all risk and danger incidental to attending the Event, whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the Event, and Affirm will not be liable for any resulting harm, including death, personal injury, loss, damage, or any other liability, including, but not limited to, any claims that stem from any services, materials or input provided as part of the Event (if any), or Affirm’s performance or failure to perform under this Event Registration and Attendance Policy. Affirm’s entire liability for direct damages arising as part of the Event is limited to fifty dollars (50.00 USD). Affirm hereby disclaims any and all warranties of any kind, express or implied for the Event, including for any services, materials or input provided as part of the Event (if any).
