Fexco and Affirm
Fexco has partnered with Affirm, to support its innovative and hugely popular ‘Buy Now Pay Later’ (BNPL) alternative payment method as a payment option available to cruise line guests processing reservation payments via the Fexco OpenConnect payment gateway. Affirm is available to any cruise line company that is already integrated with the Fexco OpenConnect payment gateway.
Use cases

As a feature of the Fexco Hosted Payment Page, it is possible for the cruise line to enable Affirm as an alternative payment method for its paying guests. The cruise line is still required to set up a merchant profile with Affirm as well as completing UAT and Product certification/validation, however in general it is very straightforward and quick to integrate.

As an alternative integration method to Fexco’s Hosted Payment Page model, APM-Link provides an option for cruise lines to integrate directly via API. This option provides more flexibility for the cruise line if they prefer to design their payment page and would like more control over the user interface aspect of the checkout flow process. Using this approach, however, APM-Link requires more effort by the cruise line during integration than if they were simply integrating via the Hosted Payment.
